A sketch that turned into a lot more. I spent way too much time on this than I care to admit, but a lot of it was just tweaking. It's still a bit messy but oh well (: I'm also trying to get into the habit of using bright colours again... Ariel's hair is a great way to start! c:

Drawing light through the sea is so difficult! The colouring was done in Corel Painter 9, the sketch and the details were done in Photoshop CS4.

I'll never get bored of drawing Ariel!
